Buddy
Buddy was more than a dog — he was the heart of our family. From the moment we brought him home as an eight-week-old puppy, he filled our lives with boundless energy, warm cuddles, and a tail that never stopped wagging.
A golden retriever through and through, Buddy loved swimming in Lake Travis, chasing tennis balls until he collapsed in happy exhaustion, and greeting every single person he met as if they were his long-lost best friend. He had a particular fondness for stealing socks from the laundry basket and presenting them as gifts.
In his later years, Buddy slowed down but never lost his gentle spirit. He’d rest his head on your lap and look up with those soulful brown eyes, and somehow everything felt okay. He was our comfort through moves, job changes, and life’s storms.
Buddy crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by his family, on a sunny afternoon in the backyard he loved. We are forever grateful for the 13 years of unconditional love he gave us. Rest easy, sweet boy.
