Luna
Luna came into our lives as a tiny rescue kitten, barely six weeks old and small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. She was found under a porch during a thunderstorm, and from that first night curled up against my chest, she became my shadow.
A beautiful gray tabby with striking green eyes, Luna had a personality as big as her purr. She was the queen of the household — ruling over two dogs, three kids, and two adults with effortless grace. Her favorite spot was the sunny windowsill where she’d watch birds for hours, chirping softly as if carrying on a conversation.
Luna had a gift for knowing when you needed comfort. During late-night study sessions, she’d curl up next to my laptop. When the kids were sick, she’d keep vigil at their bedside. She was a healer, a friend, and a source of quiet joy.
After 16 beautiful years, Luna passed peacefully in her sleep, in her favorite spot by the window. She is deeply missed by every member of our family — including the dogs, who seem to look for her still. We love you, sweet Luna.
